Remembering The First African Landing In 1619 - Vintage Costume
In August of 1619, the first Africans arrived at Virginia, a state of America. A ship carrying 20-30 people who had been enslaved by a joint African-Portuguese war landed at Port Comfort in the colony of Virginia. Vintage project 1619 costume is considered as a perfect item to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the arrival of the first Africans in Virginia.
